how do you learn English

i am from china. in my contury, thousands of buddys are learning English. how to learn English is important to us, easpecail for finding a job, many company need good English , not only written , also oral. now, in china, there are many companys doing with English learning, such as The Crazy English, THE sunmon. so, i just wanna know how to learn English well? thx for ur suggestions.

Surround yourself with English. Buy some Cd's or download some music. Listen to some English movies, and post here. All that is great. But the best you can do, make some foreign friends. You can practice your spoken English with them and they can correct your mistakes. It will also help your pronunciation and use in real life situations.

danrunsfast, if you are doing the writing on here , you are already doing very well . Your writing on here is very good !
I know what it is like because I'm trying to learn Spanish.
There are alot of good websites that help with different languages . There are also good translators you can use . Being around people that speak the language you want to learn is probably the best way to learn. Most people you find are very helpful and will speak slower for you, they want to help you.
Listening to music is anther good way to learn. One other thing that helps me is to write certain words over and over again .
Oh one more way is to pick up a few childrens books in the language you want to learn . Good luck with it !
