Has anyone else seen these beautifully done movies? I've just finished watching volumes 1-7 with my husband over the last few weeks and I loved every moment. I love most Japanese "spaghetti westerns" but these were very good and not over-acted. I mean, we didn't have sword scenes going on for hours with lots of fancy flips. It was straight to the point, pardon the pun.

I agree whole-heartedly. These are an awesome series of movies that are very well done. They show believable fight scenes and base the main character's actions on actual tenents of Bushido. I would strongly recommend it to anyone, and especially fans of samurai films or Asian movies in general!
