There are many ways to promote blogs. To name a few, exchange your blog links with other bloggers, join blog communities and promote in social networking sites. What are the methods that you use to promote your blog? Which blog host do you use, for e.g Blogger from Google?

I use Blogger, but I've highly customized it. I promote via SEO. I have one blog that I'm really working on now it's http://melbel.com if you want to check it out. I'm a blogging addict and have over 20 blogs, lol. But it does bring me a healthy chunk of money. The most important thing about blogging is to blog about things that people actually care about.

I went over and thought your blog was pretty nice. How do you keep more than 20 blogs going? I can't even seem to make one go on a regular basis. Also how do you get traffic...or are you saying that the material will draw the crowd? Best of luck with your blogging!

I use blogger.com. At first, I just wrote a bunch of stuff in it and promoted it through Livejournal communities and message boards if I made icons/graphics. Beyond that, I just posted enough for search engines to find my blog. Since I joined places like socialspark.com and payperpost.com, I joined blog communities, posted more on MBs with my blog in the sig, and will continue to link it through livejournal.

I'm a new starter in blogs, and I don't know much about promoting blogs. In fact, I have been learning SEO recently. The responses above all help me know better about promoting my own blog. thanks for your discussion.

I am still trying to figure this out myself, so I appreciate your question. I started my blog because I just wanted to have all my book reviews in one place (I write reviews for a variety of sites). Now that I have it up and running, however, I'd like to get some folks over to look at it, but I haven't figured out the way to do that yet. Good luck with your blogging.
