Is there a particular airline and you won't take?

My friend's sister went on a flight from London to Moscow and she couldn't breathe all that well on the plane. The in flight service was awful. She felt quite ill by the time she arrived in Russia. I would give that airline a miss. I spoke to a couple that flew via Bangladesh and they found the airline was terrible with its delays and then the got stuck in a place that they found scary for two days. I wouldn't choose to fly on that airline. I like a good safety record and when I flew to Cape Town last month my flight was running five hours late due to fog. I didn't blame that airline because weather is outside its control.

I've never flown before and I honestly don't know too much about flying in general. I think I'd be up for anything; I haven't heard any "scary" stories about certain airlines before.

I've flown three airlines in my life; Sterling, to and from Denmark, Air Canada to and from the USA, and America West (U S Air) to and from the USa. I've had very good luck with all three airlines. My husband flew Aeroflot to Russia and said it was OK, but another friend of mine said he woudln't fly with them for a million dollars. I am a little effy about them too, after some recent plain crashes, and the recent story about a drunken pilot, that the passengers got together and stopped. That one had me a little worried.

I have friends who won't fly Aeroflot, but I personally like them. I would rather not fly any of the Asian (KAL, JAL, etc.) airlines because their maintenance isn't that good. I WILL NOT get on a 737 for any amount of money. I used to work for an airlines and they are a temendously unsafe aircraft.
