The new CD is awesome. I thought that the song they played on the radio: "Are we human or are we dancers" was kind of lame at first but it grew on me. The whole CD (except song 10) is great. I've listened to it over and over and over and I'm still not sick of it. The "Joy ride" song is so cute. Is it just me? And does anyone know anything about the band?

I love Joy Ride. It's one of my favorite songs on the album. I also really like This Is Your Life and Human. And I agree about Goodnight, Travel Well. I'm not really crazy about that song. In fact, it's my least favorite song on the album.
The album sounds different from the others but I still like it. If they all sounded the same, then I guess we'd get bored.

One of the things I absolutely LOVE about The Killers is their diversity...even within themselves. Not one of their albums sound like the one preceding it, and it's very refreshing. I've found that I have to listen to their albums a few times before I really start liking them, and I think it has something to do with the fact that you can't "get used" to their style, because they're constantly changing it. Probably their only consistency is high quality. I love Brandon Flower's voice, and to me it's always been like another instrument in the band. There is no "I'm the lead singer and as such the band belongs to ME", it's very much a group effort.
Ah.
There's my little rant.
:D
