How do i set as the default homepage

I created a site through a free host. I've installed b2evolution layout to blog. Now to set this as the main page http://minfas.byethost24.com/b2evolution/blogs/index.php What should i do. Its said to upload the index file to the main directory. I tried in many ways but didn't succeed. Can anyone help me out with this problem?

I am not asking about setting homepage in browser. I mean in a website.
