We are in a panic!!!!!!!

My husband got laid off at the end of Janurary well, he had trouble to begin with and had to sign up in another state, he has been approved for it and knows how much he is getting each week and had filed each week like he is supposed to for the last four weeks, but he has still not gotten the debit card to actually GET THE MONEY!!! We are down to 60.00 left in our bank account and the rent is due the first!! Our landlords will not wait either , they will be here on the first as soon as church lets out. We are both in a panic.
Anyone else have a problem getting their unemployment debit card??
Do not tell me to call, hubby has called every day for the past week and they keep saying it was sent and to just wait. It has been 12 days since it was mailed.

Twelve days is too long to wait for something that has been mailed. I don't know if they're pulling your husband's leg or if the card was misdelivered but he needs to be a little more insistant with those folks and get someone to get to the bottom of what is going on with his money. Sometimes they'll tell you things just to get you off the phone. Keep pushing them.
As far as the landlord goes, you can't get blood from a stone so he's just going to have to be a little understanding about your situation. He can't just put you out on the street on Sunday...there are procedures that have to be followed in every county when it comes to evictions and, if you have the money by the time you appear in eviction court, the judge will likely rule in your favor. Try not to panic...it's not good for you.
