in the philippines Red Ribbon bake shop sometimes even make this sale buy one take one specially during the evening. great catch isnt it. so why have to worry to make your own, when you can pay for one and get two. . so i will for sure buy and i know my son and i will have a blast. i love cakes and a cup of coffee. yummy

hello bombshell well i guess that you didn't know that i was the Cake Lady, did ya? lol i have several different homemade cakes that i have made in the past on my profile page here at Mylot if you'd like to go take a look at them. but i would prefer to have a delicious homemade baked cake than one that i could purchase anywhere out like that, like a bakery or your local grocery store. i think that homemade cakes taste better than a cake that you can buy somewhere and i can about decorate one of them like a bakery would or the local grocery store would as well. i self-taught myself how to decorate cakes, through reading anything that i could get my hands on, and also on the internet. then a couple of years ago, i went to Course 1 of the Wilton Way of cake decorating. the cake classes only lasted a month but i enjoyed every minute of going and the time flew by when that i was in class. maybe one of these days, i can go back to Course 2 and Course 3 of the cake decorating classes. take care and have a beautiful afternoon and call me if you need a cake! lol

I am sorry because I don't know how to bake any cake. I suggest you just buy in some cake shop and then just add a bit decoration so that it will become unique and you have put a little effort to make it sweet. And happy anniversary to you and your husband.

Hi bombshell! I would buy it even if I knew how to cook one. It would give me more time to plan other things for the anniversary celebration.

Um I'm half -half on this one ,I prefer home made but if I see it on special I will buy it as most likely I'd want a slice now not later and depending on the time I have or even the ingredients in the pantry or if I had to go shop for them ,it would make more sense for me to buy it there and then.

i got your point. of course every one prefers homemade but if there is on sale why dont we use the chance to buy some to save our time and power what we use for baking?

Well I say It depends on the kind of cake. But for this black forest cake I would say to go to the grocrey store or a bakery. Or you could even go to a specialy or a sweet shop for that matter.
