Anyone have link or comments on how to find daytime soaps on internet? I did ABC.com and there is only one available to watch... but I watch 2 others... but they don't seem to be available...or am I missing something? Second, some of them don't have (at least that I can see) full screen options ...or am I missing something? Any other internet channels you can use to watch local channel shows? I am considerting canceling my cable as I don't watch much these days so why pay for it.... Thanks!

I watch Gossip Girl online because it wasn't on Irish TV when it aired first. It's on now but they are like a season behind so I just watch it on surfthechannel.com It's really good, there are millions of links to almost every TV show, but maybe not your local ones I don't know. Well, check it out anyway. Good Luck :)

Not knowing how all this works, do yo have to download anything to view the shows or just watch and exit them? Also do you kow if you can copy a show to DVD to play later on TV? That is really what I'd like to do with some favorites.

I think 8 out of 10 Cats is on it. And Skins. There's also British podcasts you might like, if you have an iPod. The first is the 8 out of 10 Cats podcast, the second is my favorite podcast of all time, Answer Me This!, you should check them out, they are free to download. If you have iTunes you can just get them in the iTunes store.

No you do not have to download anything. It does not save onto your hard drive and once you have watched it you just close it.

I only watch Young & the Restless, when I miss an episode I go to CBS.com and read about what happened that day, you can also watch the show online, I just haven't ever done it. I don't watch much tv neither, I just have basic cable, but with the cable I get a good discount for my internet service. So its actually like getting free cable.

I have watched Y&R online- CBS.com. I just wish I could get it to the tv since I have to sit at my desk to watch and that means I can't do anything on the computer while watching and I can't stand to just SIT and do nothing while watching TV.

I missed Friday episode of Y&R so I watched it yesterday on the cbs,com site... it played and was okay, but the problem is it was so dark! I had to close all the blinds and bein the dark just to see it properly and even then...to dark. Do you know of a way to lighten things up...maybe settings on the PC?

The others are good but the one I use is www.sidereel.com/_home It has every show that I and my friends watch and it's usually available the same night it airs, sometimes even before it airs. I don't know about daytime soaps but they seem to have everything else so I would imagine they have them too! Hope it helps in providing you with another option! happy myLotting!

I definetely agree with you. People post links on the site to other sites which have uploaded the programme. Therefore you get several different links to watch one episode of the show.

Have you tried hulu? I am not sure if they have soaps or not but they have tons of episodes of all kind of shows, I have watched South Park, Ghost Hunters, and Will and Grace on there. It's hulu.com -- and it's free!

The only (relatively) sure thing I've found is to search for the show on Youtube, and see if they happen to have a few episodes up there in parts. There isn't a lot of room for those videos, so the shows are usually uploaded in parts, but sometimes you can find an episode in a playlist, where once video will fade into the next, and the show won't be interrupted.

I am not sure Coffeebreak. I usually watch GH online at LG2 (www.liasonitesgathering2.com). Thank goodness for the people that clip 'em and put them on You Tube. I just finished posting all of today's GH there, actually. One of the girls that clips GH also does AMC and I have noticed she is getting into OLTL now as well. I also provide TV Megasite (http://www.tvmegasite.net/day/gh/transcripts.shtml) with transcripts and screencaps for all 3 ABC soaps. And of course, the GH ones can be found at LG2 as well Hope this helps you out somewhat Cheers! Hope you find what you are looking for!

You should be able to go to the station website and view most of their shows for free. At least that's what I understand.

Thats what I thought to, but you can't. Daytime shows are not there hardly at all, mostly prime time.

hello coffeebreak on the days that i have to work and i miss out on watching the young and the restless, before that i go to bed i will log onto cbs' website and watch the soap opera on the computer before that i retire for the night. the full screen option on that is at the bottom of the screen. other than that, there is fancast and hulu's website that offers free television episodes of different shows and even movies. my family and myself do not have cable television right now either. we get channel two, four, five, eight, seventeen and channel thirty. but here lately, on channel seventeen and channel thirty, there have been airing how to change over your television set to that digital television. good luck to you in finding websites to watch television shows on and movies. you might be able to go to like for example, foodnetwork's website and watch television shows like that as well. i haven't tried to visit the cable channels websites like that to see if shows can be viewed on their website or not. take care and have a beautiful evening.

ABC.com and CBS.com ahve alot of them to watch - but I don't watch much tv anymore as there is just not much worth watching! Everything is s*x and violence and stupidity. At the moment... Survivor is the only prime time I watch and it is only on twice a year. Dancing with the Stars another one twice ayear and really, other than that I watch FoodChannel and TVLand and History and a few others there. But stil...not that much!
