I am watching Obama's speech, "Presidential Address to Congress", at this time. I am curious as to what he is going to say this time. I believe him when he said, "Yes, we can!". I am looking forward to a better country- community, with him as the president.

Yes, I watched it last night. We had Mardi Gras and much of the folks minds here wasn't too much on the nation. But I did watch tv myself to see the deal and how things were going. Interesting speech.

I didn't watch it my daughter had swim lessons and my son had Tae Kwon Do so we weren't even home but everything he said will be in the newspapers to day so I guess I can read all about it in there. I hope this economy can get straighted out and people quit losing their jobs and their houses.

Not only in the newspapers but in all the morning talk shows as well. It is the topic of the day.

I have it on in the other room. I guess I am sort of interested but I am also too lazy to get up and go in there and turn the channel. I am sure it is probably on most of the channels anyway so there wouldn't really be anything else to watch. Nothing against him but these speeches are always just speeches that never really seem to tell me the truth or what I really need to know. That goes for almost all politicians.

Yeah, speeches are nothing but speeches. I am just interested to know what he would say this time.

I'm watching it now. So far I think he's convey a good balance of both how serious things are, a tough tone demanding responsibility and accountablity and yet a positive confident tone that is not all doom and gloom, we can turn this around.
