How can they do this to us Monk fans???

I heard on USA TV the other night that this summer will be the final season of Monk. I love that show. The story lines are fun and Monk is great but I guess they are ending it. Any ideas on how it will end? Will MOnk find Trudy's killer? Will Monk be cured? What do you think?

Oh i love this show too... but due to work timings, i do not get to follow it up much... too bad they are ending the show... maybe they are running out of stories.. I hope they do change their mind... And about Trudy's killer - i had seen an episode once that a very fat guy had told monk who trudy's killer was... didnt he find him then? And i do not knw if i would like monk once he is cured... atleast that compulsive cleanliness should remain...

I hope they change their minds. I do like the re-uniting with Trudy that would be a neat ending and maybe he could be happy for once. I don't think someone with OCD like him could ever be completely cured...

While I hope that Monk finds Trudy's killer I hope that he is never completely cured of his O.C.D. That would really seal the end of the show, I believe.

I hate to see the show end, but it's been on for 9 years(?). Tony Shalub was also great in Wings. Perhaps he'll be on to greater things.

Well the show is ending..but i understand the website now has some shows on how monk got to be like he is.

Oh No! i did not hear that and I love "Monk" thats one of my favorite shows on TV...I have no isea how it will end, but i do wish that they could find "Trudy's" killer that would be a great ending..As far "Monk" himself, he is so funny with all his little quirks, i like him just like he is...I am so sorry to hear that...Man you get a good show & then all of a sudden its gone....What a disappointment...

I love that show too, and I would prefer they wouldn't end it yet, but I guess that is something we can't cahnge. I think that Monk being cured would somehow be related to him finding who killed Trudy, so maybe it will end with both things happening at the same time. I hope at least that it will end with something like this:)
