You know what I'm talking about. You go out to eat, bring home leftovers, throw them in the fridge. The next day, Ooh! I have some Penne leftover! Open the fridge ... It's gone! The food pirates have gotten it. In my family, it's my sister. No matter how many times we tell her that if SHE didn't go out to a restaurant and bring home leftovers, they're not for her, she still grabs it. Even if I hide it in the mini fridge in my room!! She has food sonar, and she's a pirate. So does anyone else live with food pirates?

                    LOL funny.
My son has a bad habit of just cleaning out things. I bought my husband some dark carmel filled chocolate squares and he opened them and he ate one. He come home the next day and boom... they were gone. My son had been sneaking them threw out the day.

At least he finishes them!! My other sister leaves one bite. Of everything! LOL. Or one inch of a drink in a bottle. What is the point of that? Probably because I yell at the Pirate for finishing everything, LOL, so she leaves a bite.

He's got a nose for sweets. We don't allow him much so when they are in the house, he eats them until they are gone, and usually in one day.
I can't say much, I do that to my husband all the time. I'll make a pie, cake or cookies. We'll have all a serving after I make it and then ok the next day, me and the kids will eat more, and just leave my husband a taste, makes him so mad!

Hey cortypants! Your sister is funny
. But, I wonder if any in your family gets annoyed with her because of that. Well in my family, it's my little brother. He eats just about anything; he doesn't have a food that he didn't like. When we're eating together and when I pause eating like just a minute, he would always ask me if I'm finish so he would eat my leftover and when I've something in the fridge, I've to warn him that it's mine 'cause for sure, he'll eat that. But sometimes, I eat his food, too. Revenge is sweet

If we have something that we both like, and something I don't like, my sister will eat what I like first so that she can have that, and also have whatever I don't like, instead of leaving one for me and taking one for her!! Ahhh!! lol

Arr Avast! Me hearty. I be a Scallywag of which ye speak!
I would have to say I'm a self confessed food pirate. I can't help myself sometimes, when I see some tasty leftovers in the fridge. It always seems a good idea to eat them at the time but the next day it gets me into a lot of trouble.
So I bid ye farewell iandlubber. I be havin fridges to plunder!

LOL that really made me laugh. I suppose all of us are guilty of it at some point, but some people are constant offenders. And the people at work are even worse! God forbid you have one fridge for more than 3 people, you can kiss your lunch goodbye!!

                    Hi,
Not exactly"pirate", but surely"manipulator"-my wife!
Same situation, leftovers from Restaurant earlier night--U'll get a food preperation where the leftovers are smartly used(as a part). This 'manipulation' continues...U cannot say(even a word) about the new experiment's 'quality'(afterall she has 'prepared' it)..hihi!!

LOL that's funny. My dad has done that in the past to perfectly innocent leftovers. LOL

hehehehehehe!!..I have a story for you!...many years ago, when my children were little, my sisterinlaw babysat for me a couple times a week in the evenings when I went bowling and out for groceries. Every night I would come home and she would raid the fridge. DIdnt seem to matter what it was, when I got home it was gone.
So one day I got a brilliant idea...I got a tin of cat food and mixed it with a little relish and put it in a bowl in the fridge. I made sure to leave out a loaf of bread too.
When I got home from bowling that night, the bowl was empty!!!
I asked her what happened to the bowl of cat food in the fridge. She said bowl of whaaaaaaat????? I said, you heard me, the bowl of cat food I had put in the fridge..Fluffy wasnt eating much lately so I thought I would change the flavour with a little relish...Did you move the bowl!!
She has never forgotton to this day..In fact she still beleives it was meat spread and not cat food...But just in case, she never raided my fridge again either!!

It is so funny.
My brother is like your sister, he smells like dog because he knows where the food is place even in a secret place. When foods are missing, we always knew that my brother eat the food already. Sometimes I laugh him but sometimes I got angry specially when he eat my food.
Happy mylotting!
