Coach killers?

I find it kinda funny how Pittsburgh fired their coach after they lost to the Leafs and now the Rangers have done the same. People are talking about the Leafs as coach killers but what about games in Europe? Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, New York Rangers and Ottawa all started the season in Europe this year and all have fired their head coaches. Currently only the Rangers are in a playoff spot and they have been falling fast. Ottawa and Tampa Bay are in the running for the first overall pick. Is starting the season in Europe really that bad? Are they truly coach killers or did the NHL just make a mistake of sending bad teams?

As far as the pens go look for shero to not be out pretty soon too. Me and a friend were talking tonight about Therrien and how he was fired after Malkin and Crosby failed miserably at buying into a defensive system. I don't think they upgraded much and currently are just on a hot streak. As for Tampa, well they failed when they hired Melrose in first place so oh well. OTT I personally think is more of a GM issue as well as the Coach, they vested to much in one line and that wont cut it in todays NHL. Rangers, well wrong guy for the pieces they picked up, wishing Torts the best, he will need it. I think they did a good job around the deadline though and should make a decent playoff run if Lundqvist can lead theway.

The european beginning has nothing to do with it. Players just stop listening to their coaxhes and the coaches get fired. It happens every year.Sometimes it works out so much better with the new coach, like my Xaps. But sometimes it the same old thing. It is too early to tell if these changes really helped or not.

I'm glad that Pittsburgh fired MT for reasons. None of the players liked him and he seemed like he didn't care if the Pens lost. The new Pens coach I do like. So far, he has been doing a great job with the team and pulling out a thrilling 5 to 4 OT win in an away game against the Chicago Blackhawks. Hopefully, the coach will keep this up.

I'm a pens fan, and I cannot be happier that Therrien is gone...I know a lot of the players (mainly Fleury) didn't like him either, for some reason it seems like they played bad on purpose to get him fired...Idk, but firing him worked because they're playing great for the new coach:).
