I have been depressed now but still manage to keep on going. Personally, I do something to beat depression out of my system. Whenever I feel "bad trip" to something or someone, here are some Fun-filled ways to perk me up and at least forget the depression... even for just a couple of minutes: 1. Hot White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks 2. Blueberry cheesecake (but any cakes will do!) 3. Take a long, hot shower 4. Read a funny and witty novel like the Shapaholic series 5. Watch Funny videos especially White Chicks. It neve cease to amaze me! 6. Watch Friends series over and over again. 7. Foot spa or body massage 8. Play Zuma (that's the only computer game I know.LOL!) 9. Have a heart to heart talk with my twin daughters especially the younger one because she reasons just like me! 10. sing out loud!!! 11. dance 12. listening to r&b especially ne-yo songs 13. window shopping... till I drop! 14. journaling... ranting about anything 15. composing poems 16. myLotting!!! I know I still have a lot to add. But these are what I had done so far... and they help! Any fun-filled ways you can share to beat depression or just "bad trip" days?

Wow! Can i join you on your badtrip days? Your ways seem to be fun. Those are certified badtrip killers. Me hmm, well i'm easily entertained which is enough to take my badtrip days away. I can surf on the net, download and watch some movies at home, go out and visit friends, play with Moochie, etc.

Triple Fudge Chocolate Ice Cream - A really effective comfort food for those really, really, REALLY lousy days!
Five words! And it works every time! Triple Fudge Chocolate Ice Cream! That works every time! And of course, coming to social forums to rant is another which is really helpful.

You certainly have a list of things to choose from, in order to help you fight depression. Here are some things that help me: write; read; listen to music; long walks; relaxation; watch a movie; a bath. These are just a few things that I turn to, when I'm not feeling too good. And they do help. Sometimes, it takes time before I start feeling better, and I don't always end up feeling extremely happy. But I do feel better. And that's really what matters.

Hi dodo! Thank you so much for sharing. It feels good knowing that these fun filled ways work to others as well. We have the same goal, to at least not to let these bad trip things go on our way. These things really do make us feel better.

you sure have a lot of fun filled ways to beat your depression. :-) as for me, when i get depressed, i usually write about it and post it in my blog, specially when i am depressed over a person, i write things (even nasty things just to express my feelings) about that person and it makes my heart lighten up a bit.
