How would you define beauty? If you could change anything about yourself what would it be? What makes you beautiful? Do you rely on your looks? I think it is perilous to build your life solely on something that is not permanent and will eventually fade. What so you think? Let's talk about beauty. Please share your thoughts.

To me, beauty is messages sent between ones eyes, heart and stomache. First, our eyes detect the beauty, next our heart is attracted and eventually won over. Finally, comes our stomache, the connection here is obvious. This, at least is the way I fell in love, and of course still am. Ten years later, my wife is still beautiful, my heart still beats for both of us, and my stomache is more than satisified.

Nice sentiment! It is nice to see someone so happy in a long term relationship. There should be more like you! I appreciate the response.

I think a person can be beautiful inside and out. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Looks aren't everything, it is the beauty the is within, that makes one beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing. This is who I am. Great topic Paula. Hugs MaryLynn

I agree. Looks alone do not symbolize beauty. Thanks for responding!

When you work on being internaly beautiful, it will show outwardly and make you glowing! Beauty inside and out is a constant ongoing process. Love and kindness makes you radiant and you wont get as many wrinkles.

This might sound cliche but I really believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and true beauty is inside. You may change the way you look all you want but if you dont feel beautiful inside then it wont make a difference.I have always maintained that a ugly girl can end up being ,ore beautiful to me than a pretty girl because she has better qualities

Beautifully put. You are right, pretty features don't mean a thing if you are ugly on the inside. Thanks for responding!
