Have you ever had trouble creating your discussions? I had trouble navigating to pages last night. I would see the message in the lower left hand corner that the page was loading but it would stay white and nothing would ever appear long after the word "done" was down there in the corner indicating the page should have finished loading. I finally started a discussion and added a picture and then I couldn't view what I posted. I got so frustrated I just logged out. The discussion was on Mardi Gras. I had everything typed and had uploaded the photo and then I made a fatal mistake. I clicked preview discussion. Everything disappeared and I ended up on my home page! After all that reloading just to get stuff to show up and then to have to start all over again... By the second time I was over it. This morning when I logged on my discussion had made it and the photo was there so I guess that's something. Here's a bonus photo of the crowd at the end of the day still out partying.

There appears to have been a problem with the MyLot server overnight. Whether it was a 'scheduled' problem because of an update or a problem caused by outside influences remains to be seen. MyLot now appears to be running normally, however.

Yeah, it was working much better for me today although it seems there is a limit to how many discussions you can start per session? I noticed earlier that my number wasn't changing and now it is again.

Phew! That was a while ago. Thanks for BR. There are always temporary glitches in every website from time to time. It pays to be phlegmatic sometimes.

Can you believe I am just figuring out I have all these unanswered comments still? I was depending on myLot email alerts but they don't continue indefinitely.

i noticed you dont get a point for starting a discussion but you do for responding to discussions but i had heard you still get credit for both

You get a point for a discussion once it gets at least one response. You also get credited for responses but not for comments (though comments do earn you money provided they are of some substance).

The whole earning money aspect of this is a complete mystery to me! There's no scale that I can find anywhere on the site or guidelines that let you know exactly how that works but I guess if the info were there people would abuse it in some way. I suppose we should just look at it as entertainment with a little something in the way of compensation for the effort.

Yeah i usally have trouble creating post which is why I hardly do it anymore since pretty much everytime I have an idea for a post someone else thinks of it before me so I dont see the point in creating discussions when other people have made the same exact discussion I like to be unique which is really hard to do now.

Well, you should still create the discussion because you may have a different spin on the subject since you would have a different perspective from another person. Some things are old and because there is so much stuff in here those other discussions may not get seen whereas yours might.
