AR Rahman should have got oscar much earlier

Don't u think that AR Rahman should have got oscar much earlier. I agree that he's composed wonderful music in Slumdog Millionaire with unique rahman style. But i think that he's done much better work earlier, like in Dil Se, Roja and many other. So, it is injustice to him that many of his charming melodies went unnoticed. Now after the oscar hype I hope that people all over the world appreciate his work. Jai ho Rahman.
