Amazon online shopping

Amazon.com purchases - This is my most recent purchase from Amazon.com. It's a laminator that requires no heat so it's handy if it works out well.

Are you one of those people who spends a lot of time shopping online? Do you buy stuff from Amazon.com? Do you wait to buy stuff so you can spend $25 and get the free shipping? Do you used the buy it used and new at this price feature? Do you have a wish list that would extend for miles if it was ever printed out? I met someone recently who called his American Express his Amazon.com card. Is Amazon convenient or the digital equivalent of a big box like Walmart that makes it touch for smaller retailers? (For the record, I LOVE walmart)

Me myself, if I want something and want to gauge whether it will be a good purchase or not, or whether or not I can purchase it for less than what I got, then that is the best place to go. I am also a part of Amazon Vine where you can get freebies and review them on Amazon once you do them.

I've never heard of Amazon Vine. Is it difficult to get into?

I was invited to join them, but once they send out their newsletter, you better be on it and get the stuff because they go fast. For the most part, I have gotten books and such that I wanted twice. Midnight and Trading Dreams at Midnight. I wanted to read them and I got them for free. That was a great tradeoff. If they ever had those Kindles.

When I shop online I almost always do my shopping at Amazon. I love their deals and price cuts compared to how much everyone else sells the same exact items for. I don't always spend $25 to get the free shipping but sometimes I do. It just depends on whether or not I actually need the items at about the same time or not. Otherwise, I usually just buy what I want or need and pay for shipping.

I don't do much shopping online, but when I do shop online it is usually at amazon.com. I love the free super saver shipping on $25 or more. I ALWAYS wait till I have atleast $25 worth of stuff to buy. A lot of the online sites that I participate on give you Amazon.com gift certificates as your payment, so I save those up until I have over $25 to do my shopping. I mostly buy books and cd's from amazon. I have a wish list but it isn't that long. I always forget to add stuff to it. I guess in some ways Amazon is like the online version of Walmart, but yet they are so different it is hard to compare the two.

My wish list is ridiculous. I add stuff to it all the time that I want to be able to get back to easily. Every now and then I'll go through it if I need something to add to my purchase to make $25.
