What do you really listen to when you listen to music?

I listen to everything every sound every vocal even those little extra sounds in the background, I guess its because I grew up in a very musical family, one of the first things I listen to is the music, then the vocals and then the lyrical content, when I listen to music, I listen to every little note, like the sounds that some people might not notice unless they really aprecate music, for me the music is one of the first things I notice, then the artist voice and lyrics, thats why when people ask me what kind of music I like I say I like all kinds because I can find the beauty in pretty much all forms of music, I just go by how the music makes me feel when I hear the different sounds, but there is some music that I enjoy more then others, for example I dont listen to a lot of rap, music, but I have heard rap songs that I kind of like, I mean there are certain rap songs that has a certain musical rhythm that I like, but I dont really like a lot of rap songs, but when I hear somthing I like sometimes it could be someone Iv never even heard of, but the sound is good to my soul thats what I listen to when I listen to music music that makes sounds thats good to the soul Well its your turn to tell me what you listen to when you listen music? oh, and if your interested in listening to some of what I listen to feel free to check out my profile I'm always adding music to my playist.
