Hi ,my friend , how often you update your friend list in your homepage and do you just delete your friend name from it after having him for one or two months as an inactive member or friend that never comment in your discussion topic or never bother to respond to your comment? I am interested to know how each of you deal with it. Thank you all in advance for sharing.

i am a member for two years already and i never tried to update my friends list. some of them might be in absent only at mylot and soon will comeback if they are no longer busy.... that was what i thought. but mylot has cleaned their list as well so i need to clean mine. and with that sorthing out i will soon be deleting people on my list who does not care about me. people who i see starting discussion... that i tried my very best to response as long as i know the discussion is all about.... then on the other side this people does not response on ny discussion i will delete them. for me the purpose on why they are on my friends list is to support me with my discussions and i will support them on theirs. well logically that is what friends do. since they are just sitting there at my friends list and not supporting me then out they go. i am not yet updating my list but soon i will.

My friend, i totally agree with your reason this time. What is the use if a friend does not show interest in another friend every discussion (not even one) and not even bother to respond to the comment left by you, then out should him or her go. For me it is not a friend but just another number to fill up my friend list and a waste of precious time since i try my best to comment all my friend discussion whenever i log into mylot, update it keep me concentrate on true friend only, lol!! Thank for the head up. Happy mylotting!

thanks for the best response, and thanks a lot for agreeing with me. that is for me the real purpose why we have a friends list here so we can have the chance to be notified on what they are starting at mylot and for them to get also what are we starting here at mylot. now if they did not notify their friends on then what is the purpose for them to be sitting on the list. so i will be cleaning up soon. sorry for those who think i am still their friends and sorry for me too for i thought they are my friends.

NO problem , my friend. I think some members only want to have big number of friends but not really believe it is necessary to participate in his friend discussion and even respond to comment, but only want others to involve in his topic of discussion, if that is the case, i don't want them as my friends, period. Also by updating the list after a few months give me more chances and times to focus more on the real sincere one who is interested in supporting each other discussion, if not, i feel bad not be able to participate in all my friends discussion with so many in the list. Cheer, Happy mylotting !

You can either update after several months or when you have a large number of friends where it is impossible for you to participate in all their discussion, that is why i clean out some of the inactive one in my list after eight months. It is not necessary to do that every day in my opinion, unless you have 10 new friends add into your list of friend daily, lol!!!! Thank for sharing your thought. happy Mylottting!

I tend to keep everybody on my list unless I find something they do very offensive or they suddenly become perverted. I can't remember the last person I deleted. In fact, I don't think I've ever deleted anyone but, as I mentioned, I have a plan to delete people should the need arise.

That is a good way to keep out offensive people from becoming your friend. Since you have so many posts, you have to be a member for a long time, i am sure you are more interested in having a large number of friends in your list, and not very concerned of whether they participated in your topic or vice versa. Thank for the input. Have a nice day.
