Have you ever had random thoughts?

Have you ever sat in a corner and started wondering How are plastic bags made? or How are ball-bearings made? Well, i have. And at times i stun my dad whilst sitting in a car and these funny questions just come into my mind. And do you actually go and find the answers to these questions? Or simply brush them aside. Normally, i get these random questions when i'm out. And by the time i get home, i'm too lazy to figure or find the answers out.
