Do you remember your favorite stories or books from childhood? Can you remember what quality drew you to reread a treasured book? In my case..... I don't remember any books from childhood :) sorry... All I remember ...were my childhood play, the stupid things I did!

When I was first starting to read I love the Dr Suese books. Green Eggs and Ham was a fun book!

that's nice...I heard one writer his lifelong dream is of creating a story with the appeal of a Dr.Seuss book. His books entertain but also teach lessons about man's strange behavior. NEver could compare with Dr.seuss.

My favorite books were the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. I think I liked the fact that they were about a real little girl and that the author had actually lived through those times. I can't remember if I was already interested in what I called "the olden days" when I discovered the books, or if the books are what got me interested, either way, I did develop an interest in stories about pioneers when I was in grade school.

Hi, I remember the first book I read was a child's version of Treasure Island (big words and lots of pictures). My dad bought it for me, and it started off my love for reading!
