Yesterday I went out in the am and when I got back, decided to do some myLotting. I did not have time to start any discussions, and so I went and read my unresolved discussions, commented on some, plused, and also responded to the discussions my friends started, the today's top, and the notifies. Well the latter were all right, but then someone did not read the guidelines and this person put their referral id link in his or her response. I was expecting more than 30 cents, but I guess because of that person's stupidity, that discussion may have been deleted or rather part of it.
I mean they can just turn to the guidelines and read them or read what the other members say. This is the first time this has happened if it has. So now I have to go over and read and find out what one of my discussions is missing.
And I have to work twice as hard and maybe go on the controversial posts and get flamed to make it up and February is a short month.

You are very lucky that this is the first time that this has happened to you. Most mylot members have experienced this and have many times expressed their concern but most people will tell you to just forget about it. Also, they will tell you not to do mylot for money.
This is what I will tell you: You are not the only person that has experienced this. I know you take precautions to avoid this and it shows, but one bad apple can spoil the whole basket. So just forget about it and move on. Happy mylotting!

I was lucky, so far that discussion has not been deleted. I did warm the one against doing it and I hope when the commentators read it, they do not do delete it. It is just that I do not keep a list on my computer on notepad of the discussions I started so usually I have to go through my unresponded ones to keep up. But this means I do not have to give the best response prematurely.

I think what Mylot should do when they see something like that, is find a way to blacken their referral ID and not give them credit. However, I do not think you should be punished for it in anyway.

I really should have done that. Unfortunately I am a nice person although I am sure MV--,and Gn--- disagree.

That is what annoys me. Sometimes I do a lot of responses, and I think that I am making it somewhere, then what happens is someone on that post will add a referral link and I think well maybe I should make my responses longer, but it would not have made a difference because that idiot put in a referral link like he is so desperate to make money that he does not care about the myLot rules.

yes it happens sometimes that we have to suffer for other's mistakes, but then we have to let it go, if we waste time again finding out which post or response or comment was controversial and why our earning is decresed, then februuary will be still more shorter
...sorry i have reached march, till i am answering this response, sorry for being late...enjoy mylotting !!!

But when you do not say anything and just let it go, it hurts the rest of us. I just got an email from one of the moderators telling me that someone plagarized my response. Should I have not reported it and let it go? Then mylot would not have just deleted this person's response but the whole discussion.

Many people who do that do not read the rules because they have trouble understanding English and the rules are offered only in English. Still, they should be told. I remember freaking out at someone who put a referral link in my discussion and I called them selfish. That discussion did not get deleted! I always wondered why.
Which discussion was it? If it makes any mention of money, you'll probably get those referral links. I see a lot of people tell responders in the main discussion NOT to post referrals. And still, sometimes it happens. But that seems to prevent a lot of them. Do you know who the person was? If so, I would tell them about it and ask them to never do that again.

Well the guy who answered knew enough English, but he was more interested in making money - not that I am as well, but I do keep a balance - then in mylotting.

Wow, that is bad! I hate when it happens too! I experienced that and the person wasn't in my list. She was in every responses in my post talking to every people who responded and attaching his referral link, my post was deleted and it affects everyone!
