Can we auction the thievery?

China

As we know, thievery is thievery, which can't be shown in public by thief, not mention being auctioned. However there was such farce showing in Paris. A pair of bronze heads of rat and rabbit have been auctioned at Christie's with 28 million euro. Both of them were marauded from a royal garden by the England and France allied armies during invasion war in 1860 last century. It just like someone intrude into your house and violently rob you for all the precious, and then put them on ebay for selling. I believe no matter how long it has passed, it is still a crime. There is anything else could make all the Chinese angry and humiliated?
