Well when the children where small I would always bring them to see the Easter bunny and they would get a new picture each year. We also would go to Easter egg hunts and of course dye eggs and hide a basket in the house. Know that the children are older we just exchange some candy and have a Easter feast. I also try to make a church service if I can. What are your Easter traditions?

the kids would get chocolate easter eggs and bunnies, we sometimes went to church and we had a big easter dinner with turkey and all the fixings, I don't have kids anymore so I don't do any of these things.

Besides the normal Easter feast, we do the usual Easter egg hunt. We do it in the house instead of in the yard. Our tradition is that when the kids are done with the hunt, then us adults gather in the kitchen and let the kids hide the eggs throughout the main floor of the house...and us adults have to hunt them. Needless to say we now use plastic eggs because the one year a real egg got forgotten lol. Nobody could find it, that is until a couple of months later when it fell from it's hiding spot and broke (peeeeeeyewwwwwwwy! What a stink!!)

hello moneymommy
yeap, Easter time will be here before that we all know it. both of the boys love to dye Easter eggs every year. i cover the dining room table with newspapers and put the cups out for the dye and let the kids have at it. they have a blast doing that. then the night before Easter, the Easter bunny around here is busy filling up two sometimes three Easter baskets for the next morning. i always put some candy and also toys and small items that i find in the boys Easter baskets each year. then on Easter, my family and myself go over to one of my sister-in-law's house for a family get together and we always have an Easter egg hunt as well for all children that might happen to be there that day. everybody in the family that comes to the get together brings some kind of food. we always have a good time visiting with each other and we always have good food to eat as well each year. and when we get home from my sister-in-law's house each year, the boys are wore out from their busy day and they give no problems with going to bed that night. lol
take care and have a beautiful afternoon.
