how often do your kids have play dates

my daughter has two this weekend, but has only had two in the past. she's 5 i just never seem to have the time to invite her friends over. he dad has her every second weekend so i only have two weekends a month with her and i don't want to spend the whole time with other kds. so i think from now on maybe one day a month on the weekend i have her. the reason she has two this weekend is she was invited somewhere for sat and tomorrow is a pd day off school so i invited one of her friends since i'm off so the other girl doesn't have to go to daycare either

Never! Neither of my kids have ever had. Theyve played with their friends outside or here or at their friends place, but it's nothing we book in advance - they pop in at their friends hose or their friends comes here.
They get a lot of time with friends at school / daycare and that's enough.

My eldest is 5 on sunday and has had quite a few play dates, her best friend only lives a minutes walk down the road though so think that helps and when she isnt at school i have all that time with her so i dont mind if she goes to see friends or has friends here.
