In India, A Parliamentary panel today recommended a ban on carrying of mobile phones by students to schools and by teachers to classrooms and expressed concern over "low level of awareness" about basic cellphone manners. "The state governments may be advised to issue appropriate instructions to schools," the Committee on Petitions of the Rajya Sabha said in its report.I think , Indian govt take the right discussion because mobile in a class room may hamper their studies. What is your opinion about this matter??

Wow, you guys actually regulate this? Here in the U.S. and in my state, some school districts have policies that insist students turn their phones off durring school hours, but it isn't a law. I just don't think it is an apropriate are for the government to be getting involved in. "Manners" are not a matter for the law to be getting itself involved in at all. So far, here in the U.S. we don't regulate "good manners". SO far anyway.
