Barack Obama came out this week and spoke to Spanish Radio, reassuring his Latin listeners that "immigration Reform" is coming. One of the main supporter of immigration reform is John McCain who actually helped write the last horrible bill. This has got to stop, and it is time to do something about this. Here is my idea, let us write to Senator McCain and remind him that we supported him during his presidential election bid, and expect him to support our wishes now. Also understand that Senator McCain is running for reelection in 2010 and will be looking for our support. This is a good time to send this message. We DO NOT want to see amnesty of any kind, especially now. Our country is in turmoil, and can barely take care of the legal citizens we have. Illegal immigration, alone, has almost bankrupted California. McCain's email address http://mccain.senate.gov/public/index.cfm?FuseAction=Contact.ContactForm To make your case even stronger you might even want "move" to Arizona here are a couple of cities and zip codes Scottsdale- 85250 Carefree- 85377 Glendale- 85302 Sun City- 85351

I don't live in Arizona, but I sent him a message anyway. I hope he reads it. I did vote for him in the recent presidential election, and I told him that. If he really is so patriotic as he claimed to be, hopefully he'll change his mind. I think that they're really all the same, though. I'd be really surprised if he did support our wishes.

I wrote him a letter begging him to reconsider. Unfortunately, I cannot move to Arizona. I realize this is a very important issue.

Sounds like a good idea. We all have to stop illegal immigration. So any American on mylot who is for the Republicans and does not want Obama should continue for a second term and further bankrupt America should write to McCain. I do not if it also appeals to those in other countries though, but it might help to let him know not everyone is in favor of Obama.

Another example of how it isn't just one party running out of control. I will of course do the usual yelling at reps and demanding they do not under any circumstances support this. I still can't imagine why people in the border states aren't demanding their governors put the state's military on the border and protect their citizens. I live about 60 miles from Canada and if we had the same problem up here, I'd be punding on Governor Lynch's door and demanding he do this. I would also in all likelyhood be up there armed to the teeth with a group and protecting it myself, if he refused. If you live in a southern border state, demand this of your governor. If you live in a southern border state, contact your regional milita groups and tell them to patroll this border. If you live in a southern border state, contact your county sherrif and find out what they are doing to protect you there. Odds are, it your sherrif's department that is doing the most agressive border enforcement. One department after another among our sherrifs have authorized their personal to return fire on hostile action from across the border. If the federal government has no intention of enforcing current immigration laws, then it is up to us.

I think the whole immigration is BS you can't come to America and reap the benefits if you are not a citizen. I don't mind immigrants being in our country, but pay your damn taxes and other crap just like we do. It just really pisses me off.
