How do you open your can?

So my fiance and I get into this mini battle on what is normal... This is rather silly but I would like to know how many of my fellow mylotters do this. When we go to drink a can soda and break the lid do you push the flap all the way in or do you crack it just enough to get the drink out? He keeps his "flap" cracked and it simply drives me nuts. I guess its a pet peeve thing, but I almost feel as if the drink is being blocked and can't flow out the way it should when it is simply cracked open. I have to and always have pushed the flap all the way back in the can. How do you open your can?

i push mine back all the way but what difference does it make how he does it. if he's happy w/the way he does it let him be. there will be alot more important things that will come to aggravate you, believe me.

Well, I've always pushed the cap all the way in but it really shouldn't bother you if your boyfriend only lets a little bit seep out at a time. You should pity him really. Instead of getting a nice big refreshing drink of ice cold soda, he's getting dribbles...the poor thing. At least you're wise enough to know how to open a can correctly.
