Well, tissue has lots of purposes.. you can use it to wipe your face, your hand and other parts of the body, you can use it to wipe your personal things like laptop, mobile phone, table, etc.. but apart from those i've mentioned earlier, tissue paper can also be used in a wide range of arts and crafts(mosaic, ornaments, collage, gift wrapping, stamping, paper sculpture, pomps and garlands to name some..

There are lots and lots of uses of tissue papers. Here i will be not be able to tell you all but i will sure tell you some of them. some use it for cleaning purposes which include cleaning of household items, toilets, plates after eating, our mouth, computer, many more. Some magicians use tissue papers for showing us vairous magic tricks. it can be also used as toilet paper. Can be used as a subsitute for hankerchief. I think that would be enough.

I use them outdoors to wipe sweat and wipe my hands or if I am eating out, I have this fad of wiping the dishes with a tissue before I pour food on them. When my baby was in diapers, I used to carry tissues with me for any kind of emergency.

Of course they are used for cleaning. The cleaning can be a dirt from the face or sweeping any thing just got down...

I think now it is usually to put in gift bags, or to wrap up clothing. The stores use it all the time. Other then for gift bags, which are great those are the only thing I can think off, except wrapping gifts I never use it. That was a good question that made you think! Is it harmful to the environment? I really think the stores and gift wrapping is it's main use?
