It varies for me depending on the shop & what I'm intending to spend my money on.
If it's a clothes shop, I'll always check the sale rail first before even looking at anything thats full price!!
If I'm buying a car, laptop, pc, mobile phone, new tv etc I will always have a go at getting a reduced price or getting more for my money, for example, a little something thrown in or free delivery etc.
With the economies the way they are at the moment, you can bargain just about anywhere on anything, especially if your spending money on larger/expensive items.

Well I do open my mouth and ask if the item I want to buy can be reduce the price if I feel that it can be reduce. And if the store seller says can't then if it's worth it at that fix price I would buy it. If not then I will just leave the thing there and not buy it. I don't really like to bargain because I am an online seller and I do get buyers asking for discount...I get irritated when they do ask especially when the thing I am selling is already discounted and so cheap and some even has the cheek to ask for free postage. They think we live on air grass and sunshine !!! So I will just open my mouth and ask for reduce price once and that's it. Because people need to earn as well. But this is my opinion.

While shopping for clothes i barely every go the mall anymore. I hit all the little shops around town and even ross and kohls because you can pick up some really good deals there on their cleanrance racks and even save more money. Me and my mom also go to Goodwill to shop because sometimes you can find clothes that havent even been worn and still have tags on them you just have to shop around and bargain. We are always looking for the deals. Sometimes if we go to walmart we even go through the clearance isles there to get deals and bargain so were not spending as much money as we should be. Bargain shopping is the way to go.
