right after eating your meal? I remember as I child, being told not to play immediately after eating. What could happen if you exercise after eating?

Well it depends on what kind of exercise you do. If it's exercise that involves the stomach muscles(abs), which consists of a huge range including treadmill.. cycling.. just about every lower body exercise then yes, you could feel nauseated depending on how much you ate, how intense the workout and how close to the meal you've exercised. I usually eat after workouts or wait around 1.5- 2 hours before hitting the gym. Hope that helps!

Appendicitis could be one of the ailments. Indigestion could be another ailment. And if you eat too full and you run or do exercise, you may also feel nauseas. After a nice meal, the best thing is to relax a little before you do any form of exercise. At least two hours of rest before you attempt to exercise.

Its ok to exercise after a meal if you dont feel any discomfort. It depends on the quantity of the meal you take.If you have had a heavy meal then there are chances that there might be discomfort due to movements in the stomach.
