Polvoron is a unique Filipino food (panghimagas) and we all love it. I can make a simple polvoron but I don’t like the results of what I usually make. It crumbles before it reaches my mouth. I want something which does not crumble when eaten. I mean, like the goldilocks polvoron which doesn’t taste flour and is more solid. Anyone who could share me the secret of doing it?

we also used to make polvoron that crumbles before it reaches our mouth and it's kinda messy. then we learned how to do it. the polvoron of goldilock's does not crumble because there is butter in the mixture and not just sugar, flour and powdered milk. the butter serves as the binding factor in the mixture :)

I also used butter but still it crumbles. What is the quantity of butter that you usually put? Do you use the Daricream or just the margarine?

If I double up the quantity of my butter, I guess, I should also need to add more salt to avoid it from getting too salty. I will try it. Thanks.
