Do you find certain type of music annoying?

My mom gets annoyed with anything that has to do with loud, blaring music. I have no problems and listen to almost all kinds of music including heavy metal, death metal , thrash metal, screamo.
Yesterday my boyfriend was playing something that sounded like someone was getting strangled or wanted to puke :s He explained that the band played mostly about cemetries and dying cats. He also could mimic the artist exactly and I said strangle me and I can sing that way too lol.
Do you get annoyed with some type of music or do you feel the music is weird and wonder why people even listens to it?

Yes, for me I cannot STAND country music. I don't like Blues that much either. But I really HATE country music. 
I do like 80's music, pop, Top 40, dance, disco, r&b, etc. I can even like some classical music. But forget it - if they are playing Country Western music, then yuck!

Hello nikky28! I also don't like those loud, heavy metal music. I don't even think it's a music at all. I guess it's a noise. My brother once borrowed a tape and he played that kind of music. He is very lucky because I am not in the mood that time so I yelled at him at told him to turn it off or I will break that tape..hehehe

hehehe..I just don't think that that kind of music would be suited to me especially if I am bothered of something.

Loud music doesn't bother me as long as at a right timing. I won't like it if I'm sleeping and doing serious stuff :-)

I don't really care for rap, screamo, or heavy metal but I can listen to it if I have to. I give everything a chance, but there are some that I just can't stand and will avoid like the plague. The one that surprises most people is Kenny Chesney. I just can't stand the guy, but I love country. I have met a couple others, but most people think I'm crazy, lol. Its just opinion though and thats mine.

i think the kind of music or genre of music is'nt a problem fom me, but the annoying thing is the music itself...
i like a heavymetal music which played loudly as it can be listened, but i think it will be annoying if the heavymetal music consist of vocal which only screaming wordless...
and i very love pop or rock music as it can be listened, but i think it will be annoying if the lyrics not match with it's instrument...
i just want to appreciate all of music genre as it can be listened...

Yes. I don't like those loud music that you can no longer understand the lyrics. Or those music or song with foul words in its lyrics. I like love songs. Old ones or classical most especially.

The only music that I can't tolerate is techno. Very strange, considering I can listen to anything else, classical, country, pop, rock, metal, the whole gamut, but something about techno beats REALLY rubs me the wrong way when I hear it! Of course, I have my favorite genres, but can usually get along okay with anything... except techno!

I dont like Country music. I know its very popular and a lot of people enjoy it. But I dont see why. Its very depressing and I like to listen to music to bring my spirits up not down. I dont like hearing about the cheating spouse and your cow got ran over by your four wheeler. I just dont like it lol, I also dont care for rap music that puts people down and with all the cursing etc...

i never annoyed by any music.i like all the music.sometimes my mom has such kind of feeling like your mother's.she is aslo sometimes annoyed by the the sound of TV.so i have to watch TV without sound.but i am willing to do this because i want my mother feels comfortable!
