Any insights about people with AIDS or HIV?

I've just heard that there was a rise in the number of people infected with HIV and AIDS. However, I don't have the tiniest idea how other people perceived those people who are infected with such diseases. Personally, I just treat them as a sick person who needs care and understanding. But I know there are prejudiced people out there.
How about you, how do you honestly feel about people with HIV or AIDS?

I do not feel anyway other than they are human. Same as everyone else.
But this is probably because my brother and his boyfriend are both HIV positive. And I have been active in the Magic Johnson HIV Awareness and Education Programs.
HIV/AIDs can be contracted a number of ways. Who am I to judge. Besides, what is done is done. Everyone needs hugs.
