Octomom-Whats your opinion?

I think what she did was plain STUPID!! I have a hard enough time raising my two kids by myself. I would never put myself in that position. I do understand where people feel sorry for her but she did this to her self and I feel that now she has to deal with it no matter how harsh everything is. Maybe she will think twice before doing it again!! I do feel bad for the kids but if we went around giving out pitty to every mother that needed it then they would never become independent. I think she should have to figure out what she's doing without the states help or without asking for donations!! This may sound harsh but that's exactly what she needs right now!!

Well personally for me, I think that overall it is a persons choice how many kids they choose to have. But at the same time, you do need to be able to Financially be able to support the ones you have as well. When you already have 6 kids you cannot afford to help take care of, why would you have more? Personally I cannot see her being able to do this on her own without having to loose some of her children as well. And who really is footing the Bill for this as well?

I am pretty sick of hearing about her. And I dont know why anyone cares to hear all of her problems. Every time they talk about her on the news I just switch the channel. I really dont feel any pitty for her since she brought it on her self. She should have stopped after the 3rd child dont know why she had to have 8 kids. And people had that many kids back 20 or 30 years ago so its not like shes the first person to have that many kids.

I agree with ur assessment there is too much into this instead of crucifying her they should help her one time counsel her in the choices she has made and maybe even get her to decide to get fixed as they say. But like u said dont do it for her do it the babies its not their fault on her choices

I read and listened to all the Octomom news and in my opinion, I think that what she did was really nuts especially in this economy. I think she should have been happy with the six children she had and not had anymore. I think really she is lucky that she is getting some help. I really think somewhere inside her she was trying to fill a void that she thinks children can bring to her and I hope that she really is done having anymore kids. I was watching a clip of her interview with Dr.Phil who was not convinced that she was done having kids.

i think that it was irresponsible of her to have that many babies at once knowing that she wasnt working and she didnt have her own home or a nest egg to provide for them. I think though that shes going to end up being famous and taking advantage of that for income and care the children. If doesnt its going to end up that those children either wont be properly cared for or the state will take them away. (hopefully the latter if that case happens)

I think she needs to burst into flames. This woman has made a living off of milking the government for welfare, food stamps and claiming she was "injured" on the job and is on "disability." Every time I've seen her on TV, she looks more than healthy to be out WORKING for a living like the rest of us. She's the epitome of everything that is wrong with welfare today. The country praises greed like this and now she's been offered her own reality show and all that stuff and why? She has a working uterus and has too many kids she can't care for.
