i was just thinking today that i haven't really read any good books lately and partly because i don't know any good books that i might not have read, and this weekend is going to be a rainy weekend and i know that i won't really be able to get out and do a lot, and i thought that this would be a good weekend to start a book because of nothing else to do, so if you know any good books that i might like, please let me know if you know any good books that i might enjoy reading that you enjoyed! i would like to thank you in advance for taking the time out of your day to come by and read my discussion and try and help me with my discussion, thanks and have a safe and happy weekend, happy mylotting!

I haven't seen any of your discussions in awhile! lol! Right now My fiance and I are reading a book by James Patterson. He's a great author and really keeps you on the edge of your seat, you think it's one person, but it ends up being another who murdered... or whatever crime it happens to be. We've only read one and a bit of another book of his. Right now we're reading "Cross Country" and it's a good read!
I Guess it would help if you could tell us what kind of books you do enjoy! If you like Westerns I can recommend "A tale out of luck" by Willie Nelson.

I have no idea how you define "good books". Anyway my recommendations for light reading: Enid Blyton's boarding school books, Lost Horizon by James Hilton, Cornelli by Joanna Spyri (the author who wrote Heidi), books by Ngaio Marsh, Donald Harstad, P D James.
A bit heavier reading: the 2 memoirs by Lee Kuan Yew, the Bible, Romance of Three Kingdom (translated), Dream of Red Mansion (translated).

Well, it depends on what kind of books you like to read. I have over three hundred books in my to-be-read list, so in some way, I can't understand the dilemma. I read between 2-4 books a week, and I read all the time.
So again its a question of what you like. There is a site called www.gnooks.com. They have a literature map feature, where you can type a favorite author and it will give you other authors that they think you will like.

I recently got Music for Chameleons by Truman Capote and it is really good. That book is full of short stories so if you are looking for something longer, maybe one of his other books would be good... This is the first Capote book I've tried to read so I'm not sure about others.
