does it annoy you when wrong numbers call early in the mornings?

for me it is absolutely yes and i would get angry and annoyed when there is a call early morning and it has happened to me manier times and i would always get bored to get up early and recieve the phone call and the major problem what i have is due to my son getting up early due to the phone ringing disturbance. my small is just 2 and half and due to the cphone ringing he gets up early and due to this he would trouble me a little due to improper sleep so the most because of this reason i would get annoyed.

yes it is absolutely annoying when this samenumber calls me every day about every 30 minutes asking if some guy is here and every time i tell them "you got the wrong number" but they never listen. and they called at like 4:00 in the morning one time. and i am not a morning person i usually dont go to sleep till 2:30-3:00 on a school night, so getting woken up by a phone call i was really annoyed. xD have a good week end :D

it also happened to me many times.somebody's calling early in the morning and looking for a wrong person but he insist that he is calling the right numbers, what's really irritated me is that he always calls back everytime i will say that he is calling the wrong number..there was also other incidence like our phone will ring early morning and when i pick up the phone the one in the other line put down the phone,i just wish these people really knows how to use the phone LOL

It must be so annoying, few week ago i had the same problem. Maybe you can switch off your phone before you sleep,so that person cannot disturb at early morning. I did it,and i finnaly free from that disturbance. I think that person get bored.

yes, it really annoys me even more when i am tired and still so sleepy that i will have to wake up and answer the call and finds out that it is a wrong number.. i just wonder why some people doesnt check the number first before calling so that they wont be mistaken..and for tem not to disturb other people who are pretty busy too..tsk tsk..

so annoying. really. there are times that you just started to sleep and youll be awake by some caller and saying they just dialed wrong number. waaahhh.. what a way to start your day. grr

That's too bad. Maybe, you should tell the guy, set the record straight that he is dialing in the wrong number and if he doesn't stop doing it every morning, tell him that you'll seek the help of authorities to resolve the matter or set your phone into the silent mode so that you wouldn't hear it ringing and the call will be ignored and you can sleep thoroughly. If this really gets into your nerve, change your number then. I think this guy, if he's really doing it every morning and you keep telling him that you're not what he's looking for, then he's just doing it to fool around which is absolutely disturbing. I have one experience like that when a guy called like around 2 AM, dropped the call and around 6 calls again and told me that he's just guessing numbers and lucky me that he guessed mine, ugh! I'm like, I wanna go back to sleep, please, and he then wouldn't stop texting but I ignored him and eventually, maybe he gets tired doing that and he stopped which is very relieving.

I hate when the RIGHT numbers call me early in the mornings. I mean come on, you know I sleep. Don't call me before 11:00.. Not that I sleep till 11 every day, but still.. When I get up in the morning I want to relax and do my wake up stuff, like have my tea, watch some television, take a shower. I don't want to be bothered by people calling to see what I'm doing that day. It's rediculous.. However, I hate getting wrong calls in the morning.. Especially because some people are so inconsiderate that they need to call their friends at 3 in the morning and sure enough they dial my number instead of someone else's.. !

It annoys me when wrong numbers call at times like 3:00 AM! It annoys me the most though when you get a wrong number and it is a bill collector calling for someone else after you have already told them they had the wrong number and they are calling a cell phone and wasting your minutes! I was getting voicemails all the time from someone looking for a man when it's clear I am not one. Anyone who uses a cell phone can tell the difference between and answering machine, a land based phone voicemail system and a cell phone voicemail system because the command prompts are different. But I guess not everyone cares. Ever get a drunken wrong number call in the middle of the night?

Jhl030 If I may advise put your number on the national do not call registry it does take up to 30 days to be fully added. Now if your phone is registered as an business it doesnt hold. Also ask to be removed and ask if you could speak with the callers manager to be removed because you are quite annoyed by the calls already, and then be patient. That's the nice way but then there's those nasty wrong number recordings you can also give them that are really funny too but not nice just depends on the time of the day-- well early am yeah I'll do it.LOL

Well in my honest opinion I hate them! But, do you know the thing which I hate even more... 6am telemarketers! It's funny to mess around with them though when they try and sell you 'free' stuff and then they always say but only if you do XYZ or buy XYZ. Man, I hate that too lol. I don't mind when it's a wrong number once, but when they repeatedly don't 'get it' that they've dialed wrong, then that just irks me! The ones that really tick me off are the ones that repeatedly dial the wrong number and then argue with you about it. DUH!! I had this one guy go: but this IS the number that Don ** gave me to call. Where is he? I finally told him look, you are probably dialing the number wrong...I've had this number for the past 30 years and have never heard of anybody named Don ** Here's another possibility for ya: Don gave you the wrong number on purpose because you're such a pain in the tukkas when you don't get the message about something. Lol, I had the poor guy stammering by the end, and it WAS the last time he called. (20 calls in a row?! Sheesh, I'm definitely allowed to spout my top at that point lol.)

Yeah, it can be quite annoying to get a wrong call in early morning. It is so disturbing. If it's not necessary, why they call people so early? And they even dial a wrong number, it is worse. I think you should tell this person that he dials a wrong number and please be careful to dial it next time. Say it directly and I hope it will work. I love China

Hi jhl930, Calling early morning, that too from wrong numbers, definitely will get annoyed. I know sometimes mistake may not be with the caller. Sometimes we dial the right number and we get wrong numbers but here the problem is the time and you wrote that every morning you are getting calls. I have to appreciate your patience. If I am in your place I may shout on that person for disturbing everyday because I will easily get irritated.

Yes!It annoys me too.Getting a wrong call early in the morning irritates me.But I see it in the positive aspect.That call just makes me awake what the alarm clock can't do.So,I like to thank the wrong caller if it is not too early.Cheers!

Oh yes,that would really annoy me.I've encountered some calls wherein the person on the other end sounded like he was just fooling around and would even ask for my name and if he could talk to me instead.I told the person that I got his number on my caller i.d. and that I would report his number to the phone company.The person stopped bugging me after that.LOL Having to wake up for a wrong number call once may be tolerable but for this to keep on happening every morning is unacceptable.
