Ron Paul's Heir Apparent

With Congressman and political leader Ron Paul is already in his 70s, he will not be a realist option for 2012, yet someone has risen to the occasion. This mans name is Gary Johnson former Governor of New Mexico. Gary Johnson was the highest profile Republican to endorse Ron Paul's campaign for President. While Governor New Mexico experienced the longest period without a tax increase in the state's history, the rate of growth in the state government was cut in half, half of the state's prisons were privatized, a school voucher system was brought to the state, state Medicaid was shifted to managed care, the state was left with approximately one thousand fewer employees, and a budget surplus. Congressman Ron Paul has been once referred to as Dr. No, well Gary Johnson has been referred to as Governor Veto for his 750 vetoes as governor. Johnson has said that he is interested in running for the Republican nomination for President in 2012. It is my belief that for those Ron Paul supporters should support Gov. Johnson for President.

I do believe that the liberals are going to have a difficult time in the next election... the mid term one in 2010. I think the 0bamunist is going to be a one term messiah, if he makes it that long given the questions and legal challenges he faces. Ron Paul was shafted by the Republican party and they pretty much stopped him from having a place in that party. Our two-party system is broken, and we conservatives need to get out of the box and get active. If the republicans no longer represent the conservatives, then we need to find another way. I also think that we need to adopt the strategies that are being used against us and we need to get more militant and more radical. We need to state our positions in no uncertain terms... and we need to start getting in peoples faces just as the liberals have been doing. Since the high road doesn't seem to be effective, then the time has come to take this fight to the ditch and mud. I already consider the democrat party to be a criminal organization, and it is time to treat them as such.

Fighting fire with fire my only problem with that is we are better than that, but the soul of America might dictate that we get into the ditches with them.

The more the merrier. I was hoping to hear more from Chuck Baldwin too. ROn Paul gave him his official endorsement this last election. But like I said, the more the merrier. We need to FILL washington with people like this. People who have the will and guts to govern under the proper constitutional guidelines.

Now I do understand that you are a member of the Constitutional party, and Chuck Baldwin was your parties nominee but I do not understand the man. No offense but I do not get into the whole New World Order stuff. I maybe against the U.N because they waist money and they put our troops into situation where they are not suppose to be, but I do not think the U.N of all organization that cannot even tie its own shoe strings will take over the world. Call me blind but I do not see it.

Hey Ron Paul is healthier than most people half his age. Do you know he bikes 5 miles a day. Heck I do not do that. Don't even know if I could and I am in my 30's. As watch out. ROn Paul's son Rand is looking like he may be jumping into the political ring....so we may have an heir there. But to tell you the truth to make a real difference in this country we need a lot of heir apparents. We need more than just one person like him in congress or running for president. We need a house and senate ( and president) just like him. KNow where we can find that many people willing to take on those jobs with as much honor and integrity as Ron Paul?

Please do not get me wrong Ron Paul is very health and could go on in the House for a couple more terms. I just do not believe that Congressmen Paul will be running for President in 2012. Rand is the natural choice but like you write we as a nation need a lot of heirs. To answer your last question I do not know but with the rage that is brewing up among Americans right now we may start seeing more.
