Hello mylotters I just have a statement here that I need your opinion. I leave of absence for one day here at mylot for some off line business. When I came back just this morning I was shocked because I had 89 mylot messages to be opened. As I write this topic I haven't finish yet replying all those mssges from our friends here. If you're at my place, what would you do or your suggestions, in order for me to accommodate those messages that I have right now....Please I need your opinion..thanks guys...

It can seem terribly overwhelming when you receive that many notifiers from myLot I agree but my strategy so as not to miss any of them is this. I start by opening the ones that are telling me I have a comment on a response on someone else's discussion and I go back and comment to it if there is something I can add. Then I open the responses on my own discussions and comment there. Then one by one I open the notifiers of friends who have started discussions and if they are interesting I respond there too. It takes a bit of time but it is usually well worth it and usually is fun too as most of those on my friend list have interesting discussions. The time passes and without even realising it I have been really busy!

You're lucky and so are your friends! That's what it's all about and you certainly know how to treat them right! Happy Lotting!

Yes you're right. That's what I did friend. I opened first all the comments, from mylot and remained all outstanding discussions. From that discussions I would select those of my best of best friends who are always active in replying my topics in return of the favor they've given to me...and the rest leave or delete it. But usually I would just delete the remaining one because if I would just open it the next day the more my messages would get stuck..I just have so many active friends here that's why I could not open my mylot even just one day that could already filled my mylot inbox....whew!

Hello mob. That happens specially if the notification is on. You don't have to worry. You can reply to those topics of your interest or those topics that you know how to reply. You can delete those you can't reply. Are you referring to messages or posted discussions? Good day!

I am referring both joyce. Yes you have an idea but I just don't feel right turning off the notification, as if I am turning down my friends topics and discussions. I would just try it if I could...thanks

Yes you're right. That's what I did really. I just asked an advise at least to clear my conscience if I would delete some of it after I selected only those really my best friend's topics and discussions...thanks friend...

89 messages? I wonder what are those messages all about. Not that I'm trying to pry, I'm just curious. I think you don't have a choice but to read and, if need be, reply to all of them one by one. It's been 3 hours, what's your progress?

Honestly I can't read all of that 89 messages in a time. What I did was right was just to select few of those messages and reply it. I just deleted the remaining few because if I would let it open the next day that could already get stuck. The same thing would happen again unless I would delete the old one to be backed again the rhythm of opening messages everyday...

Hi mobhomeir, 89 messages in one day, I think you must be a great person to receive such a huge number of messages. I have been a member here for the last one year; still I haven't received even half of the number you received in one day (lol). If I got so many messages, I will read each and will reply if the message demands the same. I think spam messages are very rare in mylot so I may spend time to read all.

Not really. I guess all of my considered friends here are just so active in posting discussions and of course that could make my messages stock up if I would not open even a day....thanks..

Not really. As what I knew, mylot would also send on your account every topics and discussions posted by your friends. I have so many considered friends here and if each of them are so active posting discussions therefore one day of absence would make your mylot messages full....
