As the tradition goes on, the first of marsch, the Vasa Race will go as always. many people will be at the start to actually participate, but as many will also watch the TV and follow this race. I heard a TV reporter yesterday say, when you have the race, when You participate in the race You lose about three kilos. I did not know that Anyways, it seems we will have a great weekend with lots of sun, but also some snow will fall down on the participating people. Have You heard about The Vasa Race? Can You follow it? Have You participate in the rac? I never have the time to follow it, I always work this day. And it is the same as always this year to, however, many of my eldre at work will follow this event on their TV.s, so from time to time, I can follow here and there.

I use to follow the race and my friends that's participate, but I don't think I will ever participate my self - it's to far to ski and it's to expensive to let housing during the race. Perhaps I'll do the "Kortvasan" some day - that's more okay lenght to ski. 90 km is way to far! I think it's sad that is was the same day as the World Championship is cross country skiing - I belive some of them could have started - even if they seldom have a chance in these long races.

I can not believe that people rally put them self trough a tuff race like that. But it seems to be some fun with since there is about 1600 people actually doing it. I would not. I get tired just thinking about it. 9 miles, is to much but I am impressed though in those that do and do it for 4 hours...And this year it was a swedish man who won, and he had won two times before. Luch Swedish people.

I would not be able. Sins I have borned problem with my hip. Skiing is one of the sports I can not do. I am longing for the springtime, so I can start biking again. I am not a huge fan of walking, since it is tuff for me. I do walk, but can not walk to long. The bike is my best friend when it comes to exersising.

1600? No, 13,257 skiiers even made it to the finish line this year. Oscar Svärd did a good race this year as well. You can't write 9 miles *lol* 9 miles is not far (14,5 km). Vasaloppet is 56 miles long = 90 kilometers. I thinkit's a great thing to participate in - doing the Swedish Classic - Lidingöloppet, Vansbrosimmet, Vätternrundan and Vasaloppet in a year. That's recpect!
