Boys / Men Carrying Handbags of their GF's on their Shoulder, What Can U Say?

Is he a gay or weird? I sometimes see a boy or man carrying the big handbag of their GF's on their shoulder. I feel this is awkward. If the girl can not carry her bag then why bring along a big bag, she can use a small bag instead. I don't want my man to carry my bag on his shoulder coz I don't like him to be awkward-looking. If, you're a girl, do you let your bf carry your bag? Why? If you're a boy, do you carry your gf's bag on your shoulder? Don't you feel awkward?

I don't see any problem with it at all joyce! I am disabled and my other half has to frequently carry my bag for me if I am trying to walk with my stick rather than sit in my wheelchair. My 15 year old son sometimes carries it for me too - He also carries hois own bag most of the time - it isn't just us women who want to carry things around you know!

Hi mummymo, nice to see you here after some time...
Oh well... that is an excuse mummy on your part as well as your hubby and son if you are incapacitated to do so. But when I see a boy who carry the ladies' bag of her gf on his shoulder and carrying other things too, and the girl doesn't carry anything, I feel sorry for the boy. I don't want to see my son in that kind of situation. I won't allow my man too to carry my bag on his shoulder coz it's awkward looking especially if I have the capacity to carry it myself.

Well when we were young we used to go on seminars and we had a big group, some girls always had this habit of doing lots of shopping and all the bags boys used to carry. I always hated to do that and found those girls using the guys badly. But out of gentleness boys used to offer to carry the bags. Somehow I never liked that.

I think it's cute. Whenever I saw a man carrying their gf's bag, I could say how gentleman the guy is. It's been a tradition a long time ago but now, I rarely see a man do it. I don't think he would look awkward because it can only prove how much he loves you and that he doesn't care what other people think. I guess people will see him will understand why he is carrying a bag.

i call it gay.. lol. i wouldn't carry it.she have to find away to carry her own hand bag. i'll be like hey let my carry those for you well you carry your own handbag. lol

My husband wouldnt mind carrying the bag for me and he has dont it many times.Ita we women who set up rules about macho image of man.But practically I feel I need an sffectionate person who really cares than a man concious about his macho image.When I can do anything for him he must not be embarassed carrying a bag for me.
