Obama to Lobbyists... "I work for the American People"

I wonder if he told that to the lobbyists for ACORN, the Labor Unions, the Teachers' Unions, the Ethanol lobby, the Wind power lobby, the Solar power lobby, the Light Rail lobby...
Apparently Prs. Obama is only against the lobbyists for causes he doesn't support. If anyone has any question about where Obama's allegiences lie, they need look no further than the list of recipients for the Stimulant plan. Those are the "American people" he made sure got paid before anyone else. The rest of the "American people" will just get tokens and hit with the bill.

If he chopped off the heads of the minotiry party, that would be different too. Different doesn't mean better. Different is meaningless. Are you saying that Obama was elected for a few meaningless words?

Hey ParaTed,
Forgive my ignorance and my laziness. I am stepping away from myLot for a little while. I just came in for a "quickie" and your discussion caught my attention.
I feely admit that I don't think about politics as much as I should.
I never have. But as I get older and the economy goes further into the tank, I am more aware and concerned.
So, please answer this for me, if you will...
Who do you think Obama IS helping and who do you think he's ignoring.
Again, forgive my ignorance on the topic, and understand that although I am truly interested in your answer, I may not take it as the final word! ;-)
If you prefer, I could just go and start my own dicussion on it. I do have "slacker" tendencies.

Who he is helping is everyone on the list of recipients of his "generosity" with other people's money. As far as who he is ignoring, we'll have to wait and see on that. We don't know how all this spending is going to affect the economy.

I do not trust him as far as I can throw him. And since I am only a woman, I cannot throw that far. Besides I will have to get past his numerable security, etc. to get close enough. I did read this headline on My Yahoo page Combative Obama vows to fight for his budget "-" That should tell you all. Obama is not interested in the American people, he is interested in himself.
The Americans will have to pay for his plans over and over again.

I wonder how he managed to say that with such a straight face. Either he doesn't believe it or doesn't understand what it really means any more than 95% of the other self serving constitutional blasphemers in D.C.
They would do well to begin truly living and working by those words if they wish to continue to work at all. They are going to wake up one morning to find the body they work for eliminated entirely and replaced by the states and people who created it.

I wanted to throw my TV outside when I heard him on TV blatantly lying. Everyone knows since the dawn of time, Presidents work for the lobbyists, the oil companies and the 5% of the population that controls 90% of the resources in this country.
If he wants to blatantly lie to the people, he's got to sleep in the bed he's made. But I am smart enough to know that anyone can say one thing, but mean another.
