Sooo many people won't even know what I'm talking about but my daughter gave me a couple of hundred slides that she saved from her Dad's apartment just before he had the house knocked down to rebuild. She said they were just laying all over the floor and getting messed up so she took them. Now I'm in charge of putting them in some sort of order and I'm going to have CD's made of them. They are all pictures we took as our kids were growing up and their in their 30's and 40's now and dieing to see them!
Do you remember the old Kodak slides? Do you have any around and your just keeping them that way or are you going to do something about them?

I have a lot of them that I took a long time ago when I was really into photography and slides were less expensive than prints. Now I wish I had taken prints since it is probably too expensive to take them somewhere to get them put on CDs and if you use a scanner adapter for slides, you get really poor results, at least with the one I have. I would really like to put a lot on them on the computer and on CDs but can't afford to do it with decent quality.

My daughter has a slide scanner that is awesome! I never even heard of them until I visited her. As for cost....CVS does it for about $20 a cd. You should check into it.

I know what you are talking about. But I haven't even seen a caddy of slides since I was a child. Wow. That can bring back some memories. If we still have any they would be in my grandfathers care at his house. I'll have to ask.

My mom has a bunch of old slides that used to belong to her parents, and she has a bunch that belonged to my dad's parents'. They're old family photos from when my parents were kids! My mom scanned the slides onto her computer. For Christmas she got her mom a digital photo frame, and she included a bunch of the scans of the slides among the photos she put on the frame! She also uses the photos to make personalized birthday cards for her sisters and stuff!
