What Was That?!?!

Let me tell you this first, Lady is the tan one and is very shy and timid. Missy is the black, tan and white one. She is the runt of the litter however, very outgoing and is the boss of the two. We call her the "little sh!t"! because she's really something else! Well, when we get up in the morning, Lady is the one who eagerly gets up with us however, Missy doesn't because she's the lazy one in the mornings. She's just not a morning gal. Anyway, the company that helped me get my hearing aids also sent for a number of things that I needed. I got a package in the mail which is a vibrating alarm clock, smoke alarm, door bell, and a sensor. Hubby decided to hook up the alarm clock forgetting about Missy being under the covers.... You know where I'm going now, don't you?! I didn't see it myself but just the mere thought of it made me laugh! Hubby sets the alarm and throws the round vibrating thingy under the top mattress, where it's suppose to go and then it went off blaring loud and the bed was vibrating so hard that Missy instantl woke up and on her wobbly little legs tried their best to support her as she tried to get off the bed as fast as she could!! I'm just laughing as I'm telling you this.... I wish I was there to have seen it myself but that's ok, the mere idea just gives me the giggles.
Have you ever played a 'nice' trick on your pets? What happened? What did you do? Come on, do tell!! But let it be a nice trick not something mean or harmful because I am an animal lover and don't want to hear about the bad stuff!! So BE NICE!!

Awwwww.....poor Missy! I bet she hasn't forgiven hubby yet either has she? I don't blame her. I'm not a morning person either and I would definitely have the grumpies for a long time if that happened to me. LOL! But yes, I DID get several snickers out of reading this. I did the same thing to my beloved Meg several years ago. I had gotten one of those big motorized mice for the cats...you know the kind that you turn the switch on and it goes all over the place by itself. Anyway, I did sort of the same thing your hubby did...only on purpose. Meg was snoring away and I stuck the mouse under her comforter (formerly MY comforter LOL) and turned it on and then moved back. I'm glad I did because Meg jumped about a mile and then proceeded to bite the living daylights out of that mouse while it was still under the blanket. I've never laughed so hard in my life! Needless to say, Meg sulked and ignored me for several hours. But when dinner time came I guess she decided she better be nice to me so she would get fed (like I'd let her starve....YEAH RIGHT! LOL)

OMG Kat!! LMBO!! That's so funny!! I laughed and laughed after reading what you did to poor ole Meg.... You're awful!! But so funny!! I tied a string to my cats tail one time but with tape so it wouldn't be tight and cut off circulation to her tail and my cat went balistic!! She went around and around in circles then she took off like a jet from one side of the room to the next trying to get away and the next thing we knew, she flew up the stairs out of sight!! We were laughing so hard till she started around the room but we couldn't catch her to get it off.... we were afraid she's have a heart attack! Finally we caught her upstairs and took the string off. I petted her and loved her all the while laughing so hard but I felt so bad but it was sooo funny!! Needless to say, I've never done it again nor do I intend to. I'm not into killing my furry friends by causing them to have a heart attack. Whew!! Lesson learned!!

lol poor missy - I can just see the confusion and irritation on her face right now! LOL We don't tend to play tricks on our cat Tia as she doesn't give us the chance but she likes to play tricks on people! Her favourite is in summer when the top windows are open - she sits at the front door and looks at whoever happens to be visiting with her gorgeous pleading wyes til they get up and let her out...2 minutes later Tia is sitting on their knee purring, they don't know that she can jump the 10 ft to come back in through the window in the kitchen and end up very confused......

Hi mummymo! She had a combination of confusion and "I'm so tired" look on her face! She tried her best to get off the bed but her wobbly legs wouldn't cooperate. lol Your cat reminded me of my cat Music.... he likes to get up on top of my cabinets either in the kitchen or in the mud room. In both areas we actually caught him in the act. In the kitchen, he'd jump on the counter, which is a no no and he knows it but he must've felt brave that day or a lapse in judgement, then jumped up to the edge and pulled himself up to the top. Our cabinets are huge and very tall so we found it amazing how he did it. Now in the mud room, he's a bit crafty.... he'll get on the feeding stand which is actually where to put clothes that have been folded but we use it to feed our cats so the dogs can't get to it. Then he'll make a leaping jump onto the door and gets a hold of the top and pulls himself up and jumps over onto the cabinet. We watched in complete amazement! Now if you'll look above in my earlier response, you'll see him as a kitten on top of my curtains when we lived in Arkansas. He's my little climber too....

Aww--Missy is so cute and hard to believe she's the sister of Lady and the same age, but as you said she was the runt. Mmmm...nope I can't say I've done any tricks on my two kitties...think if I did, I would get nasty looks, especially from Pyewacket...LOL--Oh but the closest I can think of is when I buy groceries and I buy both hamburger meat and chicken...well of COURSE, Pyewacket recognizes the sound of the packaging being undone and the sound of the foil when I'm ready to wrap the meats up. I often do give Pyewacket some of the raw hamburger meat. If it's on a day when I just get chicken I tear off the foil to wrap it up and out charging comes Pyewacket into the kitchen expecting what he thinks will be the hamburger meat. He sees me wrapping it up and then looks at me...like "Hey mom, don't I get any?" And I tell him, "Nope you can't have raw chicken, it's not good for you." Yikes what an insulted look I get from him, I swear.

You're so good to your furry friends pye!! No wonder they love you so much!! I had a friend or so called friend tell me that I was cruel to my furry friends because I make them mind. That is such a joke! If that were true then why do they follow me all over my yard then? Why do they sleep with me or lay with me on the couch? It was a lame way of getting back at me for telling her the truth.
I just posted a picture of one of my cats under response #6 but I'll post it here to for you to see... This is Rascal. His nickname is "Baaaad booy"! LOL He's so bad and it's not meaning to be but he's so curious about anything and everything. This day he wanted to look out the window but I had the blinds pulled. He had other ideas... lol Gotta love them!!

TOO FUNNY!
My black cat, "Bear", has a fear of plastic bags, so whenever we are taking the groceries out of them, if he happens to be eating at his dish in the kitchen (his favourite pastime), he scrambles like a monster is after him. Often spilling the cat food all over.
Anyway, picture the cat running as fast as he can, but not actually going anywhere, and the fear in his eyes is just TOO FUNNY, because he KNOWS he's not getting anywhere, so he tries to run even faster. It is just hilarious! Then, finally, he will catch a claw on the carpet in the foyer and he's gone off to recuperate upstairs, from the fright.

That same black cat, Bear, molests every visitor that comes here. He launches himself onto their laps and often wraps both arms around their neck and gives them a hug. While he is licking their hair, and drooling.

LOL molests? lol Oh the sweet thing can "molest" me any day!! He sounds like a real teddy BEAR!! Give that sweet thing a big ole hug for me!! lol I'm a sucker for cats and dogs but especially cats.... Did you know that most blue eyed white cats are deaf? Not all of them but most of them are. Makes me wonder what's in the white fur and blue eyes....?

The same DNA strand that has a 'lack of pigment' (read: white) also carries the deafness.

Hey cats! That is so funny! That poor dog got the surprise
of her life! I bet she was awake real fast! That should teach
her! I wonder if she will hesitate to get back into the bed?
No, I never tricked my kittys. Well, not really! I have
forgotten that one of them was still under the covers and
ran the vacuum! Boy did that cat jump up and run out of the
room! He hates that vacuum!

LOL There aren't many cats that like a vacuum cleaner but look above at my response and you'll see one cat that didn't mind it at all. Some are so oblivious to the dangers and some are afraid of their own shadows and "poof!" they're gone!! lol I have a picture somewhere of one of my silly cats that I've nicknamed "Bad Boy" lol Because he is so bad but in an innocent way. His name is Rascal and it fits him perfectly!! lol One day I found Rascal on his window seat and I had the blinds down but he wanted to see out the window so he somehow separated the blades and went half way through it!! LOL I got a picture of his butt hanging out this side of the blinds! It was hilarious!! I found the picture but I have to scan it when hubby figures out what he did wrong when he uploaded the scanning program but once it's done, I'll show it to you, you'll get a real kick out of this nut of a cat!! LOL

Now I can scan the picture but it's not showing a preview page where I can cut out certain parts. Oh well, hope I can upload it on here for all to see!! Here's my nutty cat who's always in trouble with something but it's all innocently done. He can really make me laugh!!
