Child Bride Escapes Forced Marriage!

This story made me sick, but also put a smile on my face because I know the child involved is now safe.
I don't understand some of these places that force young girls into marriage at such a young age...
What do these men have in common with these young girls? Most important, what are the parents thinking when they force the child into marriage when the child is only 10 & in some cases younger!!
UGH!
Why is it allowed?
This is why I'm proud to be living in America! At least here we don't allow our 10 year olds to marry or force them to marry an older man!
Anyway, enough of me talking... here is the link to the story below... it's really upsetting, but the bravery the 10 year old girl had to escape & file for a divorce makes you just want to meet this young girl & hug her! She has some courage! Bless her heart!

I am glad she had the courage to get out of that situation. I am glad that we do not have to worry about that type of thing. It is sad that kids are subjected to such things.

That is horrible..That poor child will be scared for life..I agree she was a very brave little girl, and she is just a child.Her parents should be put in jail & tht so called husband should be charged with rape of a child...I am so glad we live in America....
