In our lives, other people's words can change our mood and even our attitude. Words are essential link between people. In the following situations, how would you feel? What other words ever encouraged you, moved you or hurt you? 1) You get a serious illness in the university and have to stay in hospital some days, but your parents cannot come to take care of you. Your classmates say to you,"Don't worry, we will be with you all the time." 2) You are doing your homework. But you find some questions too difficult to answer. So you turn to your roommates. He says to you,"You are so stupid." How would you feel in the situations mentioned above? Have you ever been hurt or moved by other people's words? Do you believe that words are powerful?

Well yeah words are powerful but sometimes people have the tendency to either misinterpret them or misunderstand them. And also some people's personality are not that sensitive with words, and when it comes to words, it just doesn't move them.

Thank you my dear friend! We are common in believing that words are powerful. Yes, maybe some people are not sensitive with words but I am sure everyone is easily hurt by unfriendly words, right? There is a Chinese saying,"The tongue is not steel, yet it cuts." I hope all of us will use the power of words to warm others who are in trouble. And I believe that the relations between people will be much more harmonious.
