Any suggestion on good free article writing software

I am not sure that any one piece of software is going to have all the features that you want, especially for free. If you are intending to make money from anything, investing a few dollars in a good tool is often a very good thing to do, so you should always consider it as your needs become clear (and when the funds are available, of course!) Open Office Writer is excellent free software with all the functionality of MS Word. It can save in HTML though it would not be my first choice for a WYSIWYG HTML editor.
