shopping really cures a broken heart

it did me great. it helped. the only setback is, you need cash, lots of it, to be able to shop more and more and more. as long as I don't get broke, I don't have to be depressed or feel guilty after doing a major shopping spree. just feel like sharing this to you all... :) have a nice day!

Hi kquiming, We're on the same boat! I'm a shopaholic myself and shopping is a great de-stresser for me. Though at the start of 2009 I adapted a frugal living. But sometimes, i really have to have time for myself and embrace this indulgence...

i so agree. *giggles* The key here is to do it in moderation, and don't do it like everyday... But a girl can dream and wish she could do it everyDAY

We all have our ways of getting out of a broken heart..how about joining my discussion.. on writing 5 things a day on what you are grateful for? you write every nite before going to bed..what 5 most important things that you were grateful for today..nothing in detail..just write 1 - 5..a sentence of what u were grateful for..u will be surprised how your life will change..for the better.

Well, shopping makes me feel good too but I haven't really shopped seriously for quite some time and I would love to do that one day. But as you said we need cash to shop and in times like this, the cash better stays in my bank account!

i agree! whenever i'm feeling down, all i wanna do is buy something and go for a retail therapy haha. although it makes me feel good after that but when reality kicks in..oh well, i guess that's life- full of ups and downs. have fun shopping!

everyone will find out a way to save the broken heart.Someone may find friends to have drink, someone may go out for travel, someone may go for shopping..... I really do like travel and shopping, but both of these two needs a lot of cash.

I make sure that if I am upset I take very little money with me. This would be my window shopping time! LOL One time I got upset with my husband and went and bought a flat screen TV! Since them I decided that it doesn't work for me to be well funded when I'm upset and shopping! He still laughs about it and says "Maybe if I tick you off we'll get a nice new addition to the house!" ROFL Sorry doesn't wont work next time!
