Whether you are employed outside the home or you are a stay at home mom, what are you expectations as far as how much you can make doing things like mylot, ehow and other ptc or whatever? There are an awful lot of scams out there and after you have spent some time doing the research what is really obtainable? How much time do you need to spend in front of your computer to make money? If you are looking to supplement your regular job or just earn some extra money, what does it mean to you? You hear stories that people make x amount of money. How? My real question is how much time to make how much money? Tell me your experiences. I am sure we can all learn from each other.

I never expected to make any money online. I just stumbeled upon Mylot. I gues now that I have found it I would like to make payout each month, it is a half a tank of fuel for my car. That will keep me going for half a week. I only do this when I am bored anyway so I don't figure I will make a bunch of money at all.

I have earned some money here, but I don't think abou the money anymore. I just post discussions or answer discussion, it is better to answer more as quiet as it is kept, I just think you do better. write long and rate everyone. stay away from negative discussons because you will get deleted, if there disussion is deleted and you answered it, that means you will get deleted to. Just giving you some pointers here, Happy Mylotting!

Hmmm...! I always expect above a thousand dollars but it really is not the case. I spend a couple of hours online and this brings me some few dollars only! What about you? Thanks and have a good day!

I spend a lot of time here and there. If I was to focus my energies better I would make money. It has taken me a while to figure out how different things work. I am unemployed and would love to work from home and that way I could pursue more than one interest. I have been doing this barely 2 months and have made under $10. In the past when I was employed I used to sell things on ebay. It got crazy to keep up with it. I made about $50 a week but I stopped. It was fun but not what I really wanted to do.

Hello nuttymomma, I am unemployed at the moment, and i don't have kids yet, i am busy with house works and my dog all day long , but still i have plenty time to be online and do these money online sites. But i don't spend so much time on these, only 1 or 2 hours daily, and because of that i am not earning a lot of money, But still fun to be here. I have 5-10 sites i regularly visit, and i earned total 500-600 dollars for 2 years which is not much but not bad :) Have a great day!

This site is great altough it pays really few bucks, I still had never reached payout, now I am working on it so I will sure try to at least reach the 10$. I have other sites, but telling the truth I still didn't see lots of results since i still didn't get paid in either site. Hope I will this month get some results.

I'm brand spankin' new here (just signed up 5 min ago) and I have gotten so disenchanted with all the offers for online work. I mean really? I had one guy reply to my job posting asking me to pay $14 through paypal to an email address that started with BABEMAGNET. Are you kidding me? I found mylot this morning and am crossing my fingers that it will pay something. I'm a jewelry designer that sells jewelry into stores all over the US and Canada and right now, the stores just aren't buying in the quantity that will pay my bills. So either I start picking up jobs that will allow me to work while it's quiet or I have to get a full time job. Great discussion ... I'm going to be checking out the comment thread for more info and if anyone reading this has any suggestions for me personally, please do share :-D

I found mylot from someone I met through ehow. ehow is where you write articles and you can make money from it but it takes time. in 2 months i have done a lot of checking sites out. my lot is great because you can vent, you can learn from discussions like this and it pays depending on how much time and how fast you type and can respond. good luck. check out ehow though. if you have knowledge about jewelry that is somewhere to start- share your tips on buying or selling? thanks for responding.

I never know what to expect. I mean, I know the potential is there with sites such as Mylot. I do work at home, though, but I do Internet marketing and freelance writing for companies. It definitely took quite a while to get that established, but it is possible. In the meantime, I like to go back to some of the sites I started out on, such as epinions. I do it for fun. I also like Mylot. Never hurts to make a little bit of play cash. It is rather difficult to expect too much out of sites like this, but they're great fun :) It would take a lot of time to accumulate a while lot. When I first started on Mylot, I made $2 in one day. However, I spent all day on the site. I can't tell you how many posts I made to get that, but I'm sure it was a lot :)

my lot is fun and for me I need a distraction from trying to get back out into the work world. that process is discouraging right now. this gives me an outlet and like i said before, i enjoy hearing what others are doing and why.

thanks for responding. I love mylot. Discussions like this especially because I am curious to know what people do and what the "real" stories are behind making money online. $20 a month is good. I haven't done that yet but I am still learning.

How much money do you expect to make online: I believe that if you sign on to at least 3 or 4 social network and put in about 2 hours a day to each site, it's possible to make at least $300.00 to $400.00 dollars a month, that's with doing the least amount possible. You have to remember that this is more of a long range money making endeavor, not a get rich quick scheme. It take time to get friends that will follow you through think and then. But once you find them, still it's a matter of getting proper visibility to your page. There are sites that are available and you don't have to pay for referrals, you simply have to keep researching. I think the more sites that you join the better are your chances of making a decent amount of money. But you have to stay focused and set your goals.....

thanks for your response. as far as goals go, i don't really think i had any. i didn't know what was possible. i am looking for work outside the home but it is slow going. online work would be great but i physically can't be online for hours at end. i go on here and there whatever my back allows.
